We're a sister-run painting and decorating studio working across North London. Between us we've spent more than forty years on dust sheets. Patient preparation, careful brushwork, and the kind of finish that ages well rather than flakes early.

— 05 How we work

A process worth getting right.

What you can expect, in the order it happens. The same shape whether it's a single room or a whole house.

Consultation & specification

We come to you. We walk through the space, look closely at each surface, and talk through what you're after. Samples and finish suggestions if they help. A few days later you'll have a written, fixed quote, with the paints already chosen to suit your walls rather than picked from a default.

Preparation

Furniture wrapped, hard floors masked, fittings taken down where needed. Surfaces stripped of loose paint, holes filled and raked, cracks bridged, sanded smooth and primed where the substrate calls for it. Most of our time on site is here. This is where the finish gets made.

Decorating & finishing

The visible work, on a wall that's already ready for it. Multiple thin coats, edges cut in by hand, full drying time between each pass. Tidy at the end of every day, paced for finish rather than for speed. The colour lands the way it should because the surface beneath it is right.

Walk-through & handover

We walk through together in good light, the kind that shows up anything missed. Touch-ups go in there and then. Furniture back where it belongs, floors hoovered, sheets folded and gone. You're left with a labelled touch-up kit for the future and a room that's ready to live in.

Highly recommend Anna and Maria! I needed a room in my flat in Palmers Green redecorated, including preparing a wall for a projector, and I was struggling to choose the right shade of white.
