The wall behind it does most of the work
Wallpaper picks up every bump in the surface beneath it. We prep, line and lining-paper where it makes sense, so the paper can sit flat and the seams can sit invisible.
Pattern matched at the seam, edges crisp, no shadows where the light catches the join. Designer papers, hand-blocked prints, and delicate murals handled with the right tools and the right amount of patience.
We hang what you choose. We don't sell paper or take commissions on it. If you'd like suggestions, we're happy to put a few in front of you.
Wallpaper rewards preparation more than almost any other surface in a room.

On a repeat, a millimetre off at the top of a wall becomes a centimetre off at the bottom. We measure, mark, and cut for the room, not for the roll.
Hand-blocked, foiled and silk papers can't be wiped or rolled in the usual way. Different tools, different paste, different patience. We're set up for the careful ones.
Most clients arrive with a paper in mind. If you don't, we're happy to suggest a few that suit the room, your light, and the way you live in it. We don't sell wallpaper or take commissions on it. We hang what you choose.
For specialist papers (De Gournay, Fromental, very large repeats), we'll talk you through measuring and ordering so you don't end up short a roll or with a misaligned drop.
Send us the paper details or show us the room on a visit. We can check quantities, wall condition, paste requirements and whether the pattern needs any extra planning before it goes up.
